When you're waiting for a game and they throw a demo at you, you just want to find out what happens next as soon as possible, but you either have to pay or wait. Well, what do you mean, a waste of time? How much time will you lose if, for example, you test crash goal in the demo version? 1 minute? At least you'll understand how everything works and see the actual game mechanics. I think it's not unnecessary. Especially when you don't have to look for demos somewhere, and they're already provided by the casino itself.
