Once airborne, planes journey clockwise around the perimeter track, working their way toward their home runway at the center. Flying Chess adds a unique dimension to traditional track movement through special landing rules. Landing on a tile matching your aircraft's color triggers a leap forward to the next same-colored tile, allowing for rapid movement across the map. Even more exciting are the special shortcut pathways, which allow a plane to fly directly across the board, bypassing large sections of the track entirely.
