Where to Find the Mural

The Tatsuro Kiuchi mural is located at Ito Airfield, in the Ito region of the map. Specifically, it’s painted on the southern wall of the southernmost hangar. The artwork itself is striking: a stylized mythological hero creature cleverly shaped like Shikoku Island. Capturing a photo of it will complete a portion of your in-game photography journal.

Step-by-Step Guide to Finding the Mural

Open Your Map

Pull up the world map and scroll over to the Ito Region.

Locate the Airfield

Find Ito Airfield—the runway strip is easy to spot on the map.

Drive South

Head toward the southern end of the airfield. You want to reach the far tarmac area.

Find the Hangar

Look for the southernmost hangar building. This is the one closest to the edge of the airfield.

Spot the Mural

Park your car facing the exterior southern wall. There it is—a massive, colorful billboard-like piece waiting to be photographed.

Once you’re in position, it’s time to snap your entry for the Discover Japan journal.

Activate Photo Mode

Xbox Controller: Press Up on the D-pad

PC: Press P

Frame Your Shot

Adjust the camera to capture both your car and the mural. Use the thumbsticks on a controller or WASD keys on a keyboard to get the perfect angle.

Snap the Picture

Xbox Controller: Press A

PC: Press the designated key to register your photo.
