<p data-pm-slice="0 0 []">Kids and teens are growing up immersed in smartphones, social media, and online communication. Yet many schools still don’t formally teach digital etiquette—how to communicate respectfully online, understand privacy settings, handle cyberbullying, avoid misinformation, or maintain a healthy screen-life balance.
Given how central online interaction is to modern life, should digital behavior become a mandatory subject in schools? Some educators say it’s essential for preparing students for the real world, while others argue it’s the responsibility of parents.
A recent article on https://www.gmru.co.uk/ discussed the need for digital education in classrooms, and it really made me reflect on how underprepared many young people are for today’s online environment.
Do you think schools should teach digital etiquette as a core part of the curriculum? Or is it something students can learn naturally as they grow?
