Aion 2 Lag Fix: Start by Checking Your Network Ping (4 อ่าน)

28 เม.ย 2569 16:40

Lag in Aion 2 can ruin an intense dungeon run or PvP fight, but most of the time, it starts with your network. The first step to fixing it is checking your ping—the time it takes for your computer to talk to the game server. Low ping means smooth gameplay; high ping usually equals delay, teleporting, and missed attacks.

Why Ping Matters

Ping measures latency in milliseconds (ms). For Aion 2:

Below 50ms – Excellent, gameplay is smooth.

50–100ms – Playable, minor delay.

Over 100ms – You’ll notice lag, delayed skill casts, and jumping characters.

How to Check Your Ping

1. Windows Resource Monitor

Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.

Go to Performance → Open Resource Monitor.

Under the Network tab, look for Aion2.exe in TCP Connections. You’ll see your live latency in milliseconds.

2. Command Prompt (CMD)

Press Win + R, type cmd, hit Enter.

Type ping -t [Server IP] and watch the numbers fluctuate. High spikes indicate unstable routing.

3. Optimization Tools

Programs like ExitLag or GearUP Booster have built-in Network Analyzers. They show real-time ping to each game server before you even launch the game.

Quick Fixes for High Ping

Switch to Ethernet – Wi-Fi can drop packets and fluctuate. A wired connection is much more stable.

Clear Bandwidth – Pause downloads, video streams, and apps that use your network while gaming.

Restart Router/Modem – Power off for 30 seconds to reset temporary glitches.

Change DNS – Google DNS (8.8.8.8) or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) can improve routing and sometimes reduce ping.

Optimization for Cross-Region Play

Many Aion 2 players connect to Korean or Taiwanese servers, which adds unavoidable base latency.

Gaming VPNs – Services like NoPing or ExitLag pick the fastest route to overseas servers, often reducing spikes.

Server Selection – If available, pick servers with lower ping or use “Auto” mode in boosters to find the best node.

Performance Tweaks if Ping is Fine

Sometimes lag isn’t network-related:

Lower Graphics Settings – Reduce shadows, textures, and effects to reduce FPS drops.

Enable Performance Mode – Use your PC’s high-performance plan and the game’s performance mode.

Update Drivers – Make sure GPU and chipset drivers are current to avoid unnecessary stuttering.

By starting with your ping and following these steps, you can drastically reduce lag in Aion 2, making your dungeon runs, PvP battles, and raids smoother and more responsive.
